Artemis - Hunter, Goddess of moon, etc

The Greek Myth of Artemis is well represented in paintings by Titian et al.

As a woman, Artemis was an independent feminine spirit, elusive, vengeful, on the edges of society (liminal space). In contemporary cultures, her archetype has been embodied by Lisbeth Salander (The girl with the dragon tattoo, by Steig Larson) and Ripley, from Alien (the movie). (Promising Young Woman, film)

Artemis takes revenge on Acteon, one of her transgressors, by changing him into a stag. He dies by being hunted himself.

Teresa’s - (Philip Green as Acteon, killed by his own dogs (chihuahuas).

There is a nod / reference to Leonora Carrington, a British Surrealist artist as an Artemis type (uses character from one of her paintings - Teresa to tell me)
